Published pricing

Our prices, before the first meeting

Fixed-price stages to prove it works, subscriptions that include the hardware, or a capital purchase you own outright. The numbers on this page are the numbers in our proposals.

Plain answers

Why we publish what it costs

Most industrial integrators want a site visit, two calls and a requirements workshop before they will name a number. We would rather you knew in advance whether the budget conversation is worth having. Publishing prices is one of our principles, and it keeps our own proposals honest.

Where a price starts with "from", the final figure depends on things we can't know until we see the job: the number of cameras or sensors, line speed, how hard the optics and lighting are, washdown or hazardous-area housings, and how deep the integration with your PLC, MES and CMMS goes. Your proposal shows how each one moves the price.

Shared savings

Tie part of the fee to measured results

Once a Proof of Value has established a measured baseline, part of your fee can be tied to what the system actually achieves: less scrap, fewer escapes reaching customers, or less unplanned downtime on monitored assets, measured against that baseline.

  1. Agree the metric. One measure, defined precisely — for example, scrap weight per thousand units on one line — with the data source both sides will use.
  2. Fix the baseline. The Proof of Value measurement becomes the reference, adjusted only for changes written into the contract, such as a new product or a large change in volume.
  3. Split the fee. A fixed portion covers hardware and Care; a variable portion is paid against the measured reduction.
  4. Review it together. Results come from Console and your own records, and both sides see the same numbers.

Shared savings fits when the metric is stable, well measured and mostly within the system's influence. It fits poorly when product mix changes weekly or several improvement projects are running on the same line. Our field note on outcome-based pricing covers the trade-offs.

Included

What subscriptions and purchases include

  • Engineering, installation and commissioning by Perflens engineers
  • Factory acceptance testing in our lab and site acceptance testing on your line, with written reports
  • PLC, MES, historian and CMMS integration to the agreed specification
  • Perflens Console with SSO, role-based access and a full audit log
  • Operator and maintenance training at handover
  • A model card and ONNX export for every trained model
  • Hardware replacement for the full term of any subscription
  • Care Essentials on every subscription

What isn't included

  • Site infrastructure. Power, network cabling and cabinet space at the station. We specify exactly what is needed; your contractor installs it, or we quote it separately.
  • Line modifications. New conveyors, reject mechanisms or guarding where the line doesn't already have them, quoted separately when needed.
  • Work inside third-party systems. Configuration of your MES, ERP or CMMS beyond the agreed connection is done by you or your vendor.
  • Sales tax, where it applies.

FAQ

Questions we hear often

What makes a project cost more than the starting price?

Mostly physics and integration. Several cameras on one station, very high line speeds, difficult parts such as reflective or transparent surfaces, stainless washdown housings and connections to several plant systems all add cost. Your proposal itemizes each one.

Is the Feasibility Sprint fee refundable?

It isn't refundable, but it is 100% credited against a project or subscription started within 90 days. If the answer is no-go, you keep the report, the images and the baseline model results.

What happens at the end of a 36-month term?

You can renew, refresh the hardware on a new term, or end the subscription. Either way, your data and trained models are yours, exportable in open formats.

How is Care priced on a purchased system?

Care is optional after a capital purchase. Care Essentials is $650 per station or $18 per asset per month; Care Verified adds $650 per station or $18 per asset per month on top; Care Dedicated starts at $6,800 per site per month.

Is there a minimum size?

Asset monitoring starts at 25 assets. A Proof of Value covers one inspection station or up to 25 assets. Facility subscriptions are priced per building up to 150,000 sq ft, and larger buildings are quoted individually.

Can we start on shared savings from day one?

No. Shared savings needs a measured baseline, and that comes from a Proof of Value. Once the baseline exists, part of the fee can be tied to the measured result.
